Sometimes children enter foster care carrying everything they own in a small bag. They may leave one home for another with very few personal belongings, and not every child is able to return home.
After talking with a foster parent named Kelli, we realized that something as simple as a handmade blanket can become much more than a blanket. It becomes comfort during an uncertain time. It becomes security in a new place. Most importantly, it becomes something that belongs completely to that child and stays with them wherever their journey leads.
Through Sonny's Blanket Blessings, we create handmade chunky blankets that are given to children entering foster care. Every blanket is made with love and gifted free of charge so each child has something soft to hold, something comforting to sleep with, and something they can truly call their own.

Through Sonny's Blanket Blessings, every sponsored blanket is handcrafted with love and given free to a child entering foster care.
Your sponsorship provides more than warmth. It provides comfort, security, and something that belongs completely to that child.
Every blanket carries a little piece of my heart with it. My hope is that every child who receives one feels surrounded by love from someone who believes they matter, even if we've never met.
Whether it's wrapped around their shoulders on a difficult night, taken to a new home, or held close when everything else feels uncertain, I hope it reminds them that someone cared enough to make something just for them.

Delivery & Processing Times Chunky Knit & Hand-Crafted Items (Meadow Plush Collection, Meadow Loopy Slippers, etc.) Every knit item is made by hand after your order comes in. Processing time: 7–14 business days depending on the size of the item and current order load. Shipping: You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your item ships. If you need something sooner, reach out before ordering and I’ll let you know if I can meet your timeline. Soaps, Candles, Simmer Pots, and Gifts These items are usually ready to ship within 2–4 business days. If an item is listed as “made to order,” the processing time will be noted on the product page. Returns & Exchanges Chunky Knits & Custom Handmade Items Because these pieces are made by hand, I don’t accept returns or cancellations once the order has started. If something arrives damaged, or if there’s a mistake on my end, contact me within 3 days of delivery and I’ll make it right. Soaps, Candles, and Bath Products For hygiene and safety reasons, these items are final sale and can’t be returned or exchanged. If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, let me know within 3 days and I’ll replace it. Order Issues If there’s any problem with your order at all—wrong item, damaged in transit, missing package—reach out through the contact form on the website or email me directly. About Us Sonny Meadows Co. was built from a love of creativity, handmade craftsmanship, and creating products that bring comfort and joy into everyday life. For the last 14 years, I have worked in the medical field as a Cardiovascular Sonographer. Over time, I became more focused on healthier living, simple comforts, and creating meaningful things by hand. In late 2023, I decided to turn that passion into a small business centered around handmade and thoughtfully crafted products. What started with chunky knit blankets quickly grew into a true passion for crochet, handmade home décor, gifts, and cozy creations. I love creating pieces that are both beautiful and functional, from oversized blankets and baby blankets to purses, seasonal items, and handmade accessories. Every item is made with care, creativity, and attention to detail. Sonny Meadows Co. has also grown to include Tommy’s handcrafted wood art and laser engraved creations. His work adds a unique rustic and personalized touch to the business through custom engraved signs, décor, and specialty wood pieces. Together, we enjoy combining creativity, craftsmanship, and handmade quality into everything we create. The name Sonny Meadows Co. was inspired by my parrot, Sonny, who has brought so much joy and sunshine into my life over the years. “Meadows” represents the place where I bought my first home and planted roots for a new chapter in life.
